Extreme Acceleration Shaker EAS-Y Ring

The EAS-Y Ring is a revolutionary high-force electro-dynamic shaker providing the versatility and capability demanded by today's commercial and military hardware test engineers. Designed to meet MIL, ASTM, IEC, ISO, BS and JIS international test standards the EAS-Y Ring shaker is ideal for screening medium sized assemblies over long-duration and high acceleration test levels. Multiple test items can also be tested at extreme high acceleration levels with a proportionally sizes head expander.

Providing a maximum acceleration sine peak of 150g the armature is constructed from a light-weight solid ring (no multiple windings) bolted to an armature frame. The solid ring armature is water-cooled for highest performance and the shaker body air-cooled for simplicity and long-term reliability. EAS-Y Ring shakers are manufactured by ETS Solutions and are currently available with a Sine and Random Force of 78.4 to 98 kN (17,600 to 22,000 lbf) and acceleration of 133 and 150g respectively.
